My Approach
Therapy that honors your rhythm.
My approach integrates both top-down and bottom-up healing to support deeper, lasting change. Through integrative EMDR, somatic therapy, mindfulness, and depth-oriented psychotherapy, we work not only to understand your patterns—but to help your nervous system feel safe enough to heal.
Client-Centered.
We focus on creating a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you are heard, understood, and met at your own pace.
Together, we adapt the process to your unique experiences, needs, and goals.
My priority is to offer personalized guidance that honors both your emotional experience and your nervous system’s capacity for change.
“No tree, it is said, can grow to heaven unless its roots reach down to hell.”
— Carl Jung
Virtual EMDR.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing is an evidence-based therapy endorsed by the World Health Organization and the U.S. Department of Defense to help heal trauma and distressing memories.
Using guided bilateral stimulation (visual, auditory, or tactile), EMDR supports the reprocessing of these experiences—reducing emotional charge and shifting the beliefs associated with them, so you can step into your life more fully, unhindered by the past.
Jungian Active Imagination.
Jungian Active Imagination (shadow work) is an approach that supports creative exploration of the psyche through dreams, imagery, and expressive practices such as art and movement.
By engaging with the unconscious, we invite deeper self-discovery and healing.
This process helps uncover hidden or disowned parts of yourself, offering greater awareness and insight so you can live with more intention and a more integrated sense of self.
“We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.”
— Albert Einstein
Solution-Focused.
Solution-focused therapy is a goal-oriented approach that helps redirect attention toward strengths, resources, and next steps.
Together, we identify what is already working, clarify what you want to move toward, and create practical strategies for meaningful change.
This approach helps balance depth work with momentum, agency, and real-life application.
“There is more wisdom in your body than in your deepest philosophy.”
— Friedrich Nietzsche
Somatic Therapy.
Somatic therapy is a body-based approach that recognizes the deep connection between the mind, body, and nervous system. Influenced by polyvagal-informed therapy, therapeutic yoga, and Hakomi, this work supports interoceptive awareness—your ability to notice and attune to internal bodily sensations.
Together, we work to increase nervous system regulation, release chronic patterns of tension, process unresolved stress and trauma, and cultivate deeper self-awareness and embodiment.
Therapeutic yoga may support movement and release, Hakomi emphasizes mindful awareness of internal experience, and polyvagal-informed approaches help foster greater felt-sense safety and connection.
We may develop a personalized plan that supports both emotional and physical well-being—guided by cognitive behavioral strategies for habit change and supported through SMART goal setting.
This approach emphasizes sustainable, cumulative change that can strengthen self-care, increase resilience, and cultivate a greater sense of fulfillment and joy.
Over time, daily habits and lifestyle rhythms can become a foundation for healing, self-worth, and long-term well-being.
